Vince McMahon will leave those working in WWE guessing as to when he will be backstage next.
In January, McMahon strongarmed his way back into WWE by threatening to block attempts to sell the company without his involvement.
McMahon also threatened to vote down any media rights offers as part of negotiations with FOX and the USA Network.
McMahon Backstage
For the March 6, 2023, episode of Monday Night Raw, McMahon was backstage in his first time backstage since before his July 2022 retirement.
At the time, it was reported that McMahon was merely visiting the Superstars and wanted to catch up with John Cena, who was also at the show.
McMahon was also present backstage during WrestleMania 39, where he had his own office at the show.
The Executive Chairman of WWE was backstage during this week's Raw and made several last-minute changes to the three-hour show.
While McMahon was at Raw, the 77-year-old billionaire was not at this week's SmackDown in Portland, though did call in from Titan Towers.
During the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that while McMahon could appear again, nobody knows when that will be.
“So SmackDown, Vince was not in Portland, but he was working remote. They did not change a lot. There were things that were changed, but it wasn’t anything that was major and whatever that means. Vince is involved. He’s definitely involved and as far as how often he’s going to go [to shows], nobody knows. Nobody knows. He’s going to show up when he wants to show up. He’s going to do what he wants to do and that’s the deal."
It has not been confirmed as to whether McMahon will be present at tomorrow's Raw in Seattle.
The show will see Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan challenge WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Lita and Becky Lynch.
Cody Rhodes will address his future in WWE on Raw after losing to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.
