Vince McMahon may have to get used to not getting his own way thanks to the acquisition of WWE by Endeavor.

Last week, it was announced that Endeavor, the parent company of UFC, will acquire WWE for the sum of $9.3 billion.

Endeavor will form a new company (tentatively called TKO) which will consist of WWE and UFC and will have an estimated net worth of $21.3 billion.

In January of this year, McMahon strongarmed his way back onto WWE's Board of Directors and was quickly appointed Executive Chairman.

To return, McMahon threatened to use his control as majority shareholder to vote against any possible sales of WWE without his involvement.

McMahon also threatened to vote against any attempts to renegotiate WWE's media rights deals with FOX and the USA Network.

The promotion's rights are due for renewal in 2024, and WWE is reportedly yet to enter negotiations with either broadcaster.

While Vince McMahon was able to force his way back onto WWE with his influence, that won't be the case after the Endeavor deal goes through.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that McMahon will hold 18% of the voting control over decisions in the TKO company.

Stephanie McMahon, who resigned after Vince's return in January, will hold 1.2% of the TKO shares/voting control.

Linda McMahon will hold 0.4% of the shares and voting control.

Shareholders who have been with WWE from before the Endeavor deal will make up 28.9% of the voting control over TKO.

The majority of the voting control will be held by former Endeavor shareholders, who will control 51%.
