Reports surfaced that Cody Rhodes had meetings in Hollywood for potential movie and TV projects while he was in town for WrestleMania 39.
In the first report from Fightful Select, "The American Nightmare" was rumored to be either linked to or interested in the role of Johnny Cage in the Mortal Kombat sequel. Another potential role could be in the possible Legend of Zelda movie.
A new report from Fightful says that Rhodes doesn't plan on being a part-time wrestler. Any projects that he takes on would be around his WWE schedule.
Although Rhodes did not finish the story and defeat Roman Reigns to become the champion, he will still figure into plans prominently. On the "RAW After Mania", he was scheduled to tag with Brock Lesnar. "The Beast Incarnate" had other plans and turned on the former AEW TNT Champion.
While we don't know yet what Tinseltown holds for Rhodes in the future, he does have acting projects under his belt. He was on CW's Arrow from 2016-2018 as Derek Sampson. The show starred Stephen Amell, who Rhodes faced at SumerSlam 2015.
In 2010, Rhodes appeared on an episode of Warehouse 13.
