WWE’s star power has taken a hit in recent weeks with Drew McIntyre being pulled from television.

McIntyre is also considered to be a workhorse for not missing shows despite illness or just the tough travel schedule that the talent has to deal with on a weekly basis.

His status with WWE has been heavily talked about in recent weeks, including an injury that has kept him sidelined and whether he will sign a new contract with the promotion. The two sides are still in talks, but he has not agreed to a new contract with the company yet.

As previously reported, McIntyre is said to be unhappy with the creative for him in the company as of late, and the two sides are far apart on money. Over the weekend, he removed all WWE references from his bio and blacked out his social media accounts.

It's still unclear exactly when he removed the WWE references from the accounts.

McIntyre hasn’t been since the highly praised triple threat match with Intercontinental Champion Gunther and Sheamus at WrestleMania 39. After the match, he has been absent from in-ring competition.

According to Dave Meltzer in Wrestling Observer’s Daily Update and today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that McIntyre won’t be returning to action due to the injury “for at least a few more weeks based on word over the weekend.”
