Shane McMahon won't let a torn quad keep him from being in fighting shape, mere weeks after suffering the injury at WrestleMania 39.

During WrestleMania 39: Night Two, McMahon made his first appearance for WWE in over a year after being let go following the chaos backstage at the 2022 Royal Rumble PLE.

Shane was the surprise opponent for The Miz in a match orchestrated by the A Lister's WrestleMania co-host Snoop Dogg. During the match, Shane attempted a leapfrog spot but crumbled to the mat in pain.

Snoop Dogg filled in for the injured McMahon and was able to finish the match by hitting a People's Elbow on The Miz.

During the post-show press conference, WWE CCO (and Shane's brother-in-law) Triple H confirmed that McMahon had suffered a torn quad.

Despite the injury, Shane is already working hard to get back to 100% and shared some of his training with his followers on Instagram.

In a clip, McMahon can be seen working out at the Sanders Fit Performance Center and can be seen wearing a leg brace.

Shane McMahon may be eager to get back to working out, but it may be a long time yet before we see the 'Best in the World' back in the ring.

When Triple H suffered a similar injury in May 2001, the Game wouldn't return until January the following year inside Madison Square Garden.

When he suffered another torn quad in January 2007, it would take seven months of recovery before Triple H returned at that year's Summerslam.

It's unclear as to if Shane will be factored into any WWE plans going forward, or if WrestleMania was a one-off.

His father reportedly said that Shane would never get a pop from a WWE crowd ever again following what happened backstage at the 2022 Rumble.
