Two more names are slated to be at Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the first night of the WWE Draft.
While the first night takes place on Friday night, the second night will take place next Monday at Raw. Leading up to the Draft, there have been several NXT stars speculated regarding potential main roster call-ups.
Pwinsider reports Bron Breakker and Cora Jade are scheduled to be at SmackDown. It should be noted that this doesn’t mean that they will be appearing on the show or called up during the Draft. However, it’s possible that will take place as they’ve been two of the leading candidates to be called up based on their work on the developmental brand.
WWE is building to a rematch between Breakker and NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes at NXT Battleground on May 28, based on an angle done this past Tuesday night where Hayes issued the match challenge moments before he was taken out Breakker when speared through part of the set.
Since losing the NXT Title to Hayes at Stand & Deliver over WrestleMania 39 weekend, he has turned heel. Jade has been praised by WWE officials, especially coming off her recent Main Event match.
F4Wonline’s Bryan Alvarez previously reported that instead of the traditional main roster call-ups on the Raw after WrestleMania, WWE wanted to delay that until the WWE Draft.
Pwinsider also reports that WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long is slated to be at both nights of the Draft, but it's unclear why he will be there.
