ince making her in-ring debut last summer, Sol Ruca has impressed a lot of people in WWE NXT despite having no experience in pro wrestling before she signed with the company. That hasn’t stopped her from picking up the business quickly.

Ruca showed enough to get those in the company excited about her future. It all started after she went viral with her finishing move where she jumps off the top rope while doing a reverse flip into a cutter. It’s called the Sol Snatcher.

However, Ruca’s push, for now, has come to an end for the time being as she recently tore her ACL in her knee and had surgery, a significant injury that will cause her to miss anywhere from seven to ten months of ring time. Thus, she’ll be out for the rest of 2023.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that before the injury, the company had big plans for Sol and Dani Palmer as a tag team in NXT.

“Before her injury, there was talk of making Ruca & Dani Palmer into a major pushed babyface tag team in NXT. They were so high on them there was talk of them getting the NXT tag belts within a few months but that obviously isn’t happening," Meltzer wrote.

A few weeks ago, during the Spring Breakin’ special, Ruc was written off TV after being attacked by a mystery person.
