Brock Lesnar's issues with Cody Rhodes are far from over judging by what transpired during this week's episode of Raw.
During last weekend's Backlash Premium Live Event, Rhodes and Lesnar faced off in the main event, the first time the two had competed one-on-one. Rhodes was able to get the win in Puerto Rico with a roll-up, only after Lesnar was busted open badly during the match.
During Raw, Cody Rhodes was looking to move on from Lesnar and focus on becoming the next World Heavyweight Champion. In one of the show's two triple-threat matches, Rhodes faced The Miz and Finn Balor, with the winner advancing to the semi-finals of the tournament.
The favorite in this match, Rhodes seemingly had the match won after hitting Cross-Rhodes on The Miz, but his pinfall attempt was broken up by Lesnar. With Rhodes taken out, Balor was able to hit a Coup de Grace on Miz to get the win and advance.

Post-match, Lesnar's beatdown on Rhodes didn't stop, with the American Nightmare being sent through the announce table by the Beast. Lesnar told viewers to look at his face, which had a black eye and a sizable cut, wounds from his Backlash battle with Rhodes.
Lesnar issued a challenge for a rematch with Rhodes, but repeatedly referred to their rematch as "a fight." While WWE are yet to make this fight official, expect an announcement for Night of Champions to be made in due time.
