Fans looking to get a deep dive into the life and career of Vince McMahon are in luck as the 'Behind the Bastards' podcast has begun research into the WWE Executive Chairman.
Last summer, McMahon retired from WWE amidst a Board of Directors investigation into hush money payments made by him to women with whom he allegedly had affairs with.
After resigning, WWE appointed Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon as the co-CEOs of the company while Triple H took over creative as Chief Content Officer.
At the beginning of the year, McMahon forced his way back into the company as he used his majority voting power to regain the Executive Chairman position on the Board of Directors. He also brought back former co-WWE Presidents Michelle Wilson and George Barrios with him.
Stephanie has since walked away from the company. On March 29, McMahon inked a new deal with his company ahead of WrestleMania 39 and the announcement that Endeavor would be acquiring WWE. The plan is for WWE to merge with the UFC to form a $21 billion dollar sports and entertainment company.
The synopsis of the podcast notes that, “Behind the Bastards dives in past the Cliffs Notes of the worst humans in history and exposes the bizarre realities of their lives.” The latest episode covers Nazi Doctor Josef Mengele.
