A press conference for WWE Night of Champions will take place ahead of the upcoming event next week, the promotion has announced.
WWE Night of Champions will be the company's latest (and ninth overall) event in Saudi Arabia as part of the decade-long deal with the middle eastern nation. Night of Champions will take place on May 27, at the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The show had initially been promoted as 'WWE King & Queen of the Ring' before plans changed. The name change came shortly before it was announced that a new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned at the event.
On Twitter, WWE confirmed that a press conference will take place next Friday, and will begin streaming at 12 pm ET. Names advertised for the press conference include Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Mustafa Ali, GUNTHER, Becky Lynch, and Trish Stratus.
The names promoted for the Night of Champions press conference will all make up a stacked card for the show. Reigns and Sikoa will challenge Zayn and Owens for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. The show will also mark day 1,000 of Reigns as WWE Universal Champion. Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes have vowed to fight each other in Jeddah, while Mustafa Ali hopes to end GUNTHER's reign as Intercontinental Champion.
