Bron Breakker wants to face the very best that WWE has to offer, and isn't going to confine himself to just the Superstars of NXT.

Breakker has been one of the top stars of the gold brand ever since his arrival at NXT in late 2021. A former two-time NXT Champion. Breakker held the gold for a combined 425 days, making him the second-longest reigning NXT Champion of all time (behind Finn Balor's 504 days over two reigns.) At WWE NXT Stand & Deliver, Breakker's second reign came to an end at the hands of current NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes.

In the final segment of this week's NXT, Bron Breakker was asked about an attack on Ilja Dragunox, and said that Dragunov's comments about being the most intense Superstar in NXT was "garbage." Breakker said that he will be holding people to account from the top of the company all the way to the bottom.

It was with that in mind that Breakker turned his attention to the top of the Raw roster: Seth Rollins. Breakker dared Rollins to prove he is the workhorse of WWE, and challenged him to a World Heavyweight Championship match in NXT.

As Breakker referenced during his promo, Rollins is very familiar with WWE NXT and was the very first NXT Champion. The current World Heavyweight Champion captured the title in the climax of a tournament in 2012, defeating Jinder Mahal in the finals. It was that November that Rollins (alongside Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns) were called up to WWE's main roster as the Shield. Rollins' most recent match in NXT was on the July 11, 2013, episode when the Shield defeated Adrian Neville, Corey Graves, and Xavier Woods.
