World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will mark his first title defense at a Premium Live Event against an opponent he is very familiar with.

Rollins captured the title at WWE Night of Champions, defeating AJ Styles in the finals of a 12-man tournament to make history. The title has a different lineage to the World Heavyweight Championship of 2002 to 2013. Since winning the gold, Rollins has defended on TV and at WWE Live Events in stark contrast to the sporadic title defenses of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

It wasn't long after Rollins' championship win that Finn Balor teased challenging the Architect. In a segment on this week's Raw, the Judgment Day member reminded fans that he defeated Roman Reigns on his first night on WWE's main roster. He also reminded fans that he became the first WWE Universal Champion in 2016, defeating Rollins at that year's Summerslam. Balor's triumph was short-lived as an injury caused by Rollins during the match resulted in him vacating the title the next night on Raw. Balor promised to return the favor to Seth, declaring "I'm gonna take it all at Money in the Bank."

When the segment was all said and done, Rollins agreed to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank. Balor won't be the only Judgment Day member in competition at the upcoming Premium Live Event though. The much-anticipated event in London, England will also see Damian Priest compete in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match. On Raw, it was confirmed that Dominik Mysterio (with Rhea Ripley) will face Cody Rhodes next month.
