Roman Reigns, WWE's reigning Universal Champion, is set to headline the upcoming Money in the Bank PLE.

Reigns, who has been a consistent presence on PLE shows, last competed in a tag team title challenge where he suffered a loss alongside Jey Uso against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at Night of Champions.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Roman Reigns will be in the main event of Money in the Bank, and the specifics of his match are expected to be revealed on tonight's episode of SmackDown.

While the opponent for Reigns is still unknown, fans can expect to receive more details during the broadcast of SmackDown, as we see him back again on WWE TV.

“It has been confirmed that Roman Reigns will be in the main event and. Most likely his match will be either strongly alluded to or confirmed on the 6/16 Smackdown show. Reading the tea leaves thus far would indicate a match with Jimmy Uso but whatever it is will likely be made clear on Smackdown this week.”

Holding the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for over 1000 days, Reigns has solidified his position as the dominant force in the company.

However, there has been considerable tension within the Bloodline faction, which includes Solo Sikoa, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso. Recent events saw Jimmy Uso pushed out of the faction after he finally snapped at Night of Champions and delivered a superkick to Reigns.

While Reigns is reportedly set for Money in the Bank, his exact role at the PLE in London is a mystery. There have been speculations of a potential tag team match pitting Reigns and Solo against The Usos. However, recent reports suggest that other plans may be in store for the Tribal Chief as he takes center stage in the main event.
