Brock Lesnar will have a handful of appearances on WWE programming this summer, the promotion has confirmed.
Lesnar hasn't been seen on WWE TV since Night of Champions 2023, where he defeated Cody Rhodes. Lesnar forced Rhodes (who walked into the match with a 'broken arm') to pass out from the pain of his Kimura Lock. Rhodes had previously defeated Lesnar at the WWE Backlash premium live event in May.
With Lesnar and Rhodes having one win each, many expect a rubber match between the two for this year's Summerslam. It has been reported that WWE intends for the pair to face off in a stipulation fans haven't seen in some time, with the idea for a 'Strap Match' reportedly being discussed.
On WWE.com, the promotion has updated its advertisements for upcoming shows, with Lesnar now confirmed for three episodes of Monday Night Raw. Lesnar will appear on the July 3, episode of Raw at the CFG Bank Arena, in Baltimore, Maryland. This will be the first episode of Monday Night Raw after WWE Money in the Bank 2023 in London, England.
Lesnar will also appear on the July 17, 2023, episode of Raw at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The former Universal Champion is also advertised to be at the July 31, episode of Raw at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. This will be the go-home show before Summerslam, adding credence to the belief that he and Rhodes will face off at the August 5, event.
