Vince McMahon made some drastic changes to this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Fightful Select reports.

This week's Raw took place in Cleveland, Ohio, and saw the red brand continue to build toward the upcoming Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. Seth Rollins' attempt to defend his World Heavyweight Championship in an open challenge was thwarted by Finn Balor, while Tommaso Ciampa returned to action, turning face in the process to defeat The Miz.

In a Women's Money in the Bank qualifier, Trish Stratus defeated Raquel Rodriguez by disqualification to take the final spot in the Women's Ladder match after Becky Lynch interfered. Logan Paul returned to Raw to announce that he will be part of the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Though there have been no reports that Vince McMahon was present at Raw, the Executive Chairman's influence was felt on the red brand. Fightful reported shortly before Raw went on the air that McMahon "made some changes to Raw" and described it as the "usual."

The report did not specify what exactly McMahon changed about the show, but it was said to be some "drastic changes" courtesy of the 77-year-old billionaire. It was confirmed that changes were made to the opening segment which involved Seth Rollins. Instead of defending his title in an open challenge as advertised, Rollins was attacked by Finn Balor. The pair will face off for Rollin's World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Money in the Bank on July 1.
