Damage CTRL member Dakota Kai has shed light on the recovery process after she underwent successful surgery on her injured right knee.

Kai sustained the injury on the May 12th edition of SmackDown. It took place when Damage CTRL challenged Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships. Kai was diagnosed with a torn ACL on her right knee.

This is not the first time she has sustained ACL injury. She suffered the injury on the same knee back in 2019. After she underwent successful surgery, she is expected to be out for at least nine months.

It has come to light that Kai is officially out of her straight-leg brace and can once again roam around in sweatpants with holes in the knees. On Tuesday, Kai took to Twitter to reveal the same. She wrote:

“I’m outta my brace and back wearing sweatpants with holes in the knees.”
