Stephen Amell is mere days away from making his return to Monday Night Raw, according to comments by the actor.
Amell is best known for his role as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in the CW hit 'Arrow,' and for reprising the role in other superhero shows set in the same universe. More recently, Amell played Jack Spade in 'Heels' which follows the lives of wrestling brothers who run their own promotion.
During a Whatnot Live signing event last month, Amell mentioned that he is involved with a project with WWE, but gave no further details at the time. In an update on his Facebook page, the 42-year-old Canadian mentioned that he will be at the July 17, 2023, episode of Raw in Atlanta, Georgia. Amell did not mention if he will have any involvement with the show, whether he will be filming content for his WWE project, or if he is simply visiting.
Amell first made his presence felt in WWE in 2015 when he briefly feuded with Stardust, the cosmic alter-ego of Cody Rhodes. Rhodes appeared a handful of times on Arrow, and their feud will culminate in Amell and Neville defeating Rhodes and King Bad News Barrett at that year's Summerslam. While Neville has gone on to compete in AEW (which is home to Heels Season 2 star CM Punk) both Rhodes and Barrett have returned to WWE after leaving separately in 2016.
