SmackDown Superstar Bayley has said she'll be okay despite a worrying incident at a recent WWE live event.
Last weekend's show in Salisbury, MD, saw Bayley challenge WWE Women's Universal Champion Asuka in a triple-threat match that also included Charlotte Flair. During the match, Bayley suffered some kind of leg injury. Eyewitness accounts state that Bayley went down while clutching her knee on the mat and that the referee threw up the 'X' signal, indicating to those in the back that this wasn't part of the show.
Bayley was not able to finish the match and had to be assisted to the back by WWE officials. Taking to Twitter after the show, Bayley shared an image of her iced-up knee and added that she'll be alright. The former Raw & SmackDown Women's Champion thanked fans for their support but did not give an indication on if she'll miss any ring time.

While Bayley was aided going to the back, she did not need to be carried. The former Women's Champion was able to walk on her own with medical staff behind her.

After the show, Bayley was seen exiting the arena on her own feet. While the Role Model was limping, according to a source at the venue, she did not need to use crutches.

This injury comes at a time when Bayley is being kept plenty busy on WWE programming. In recent weeks, the Role Model has been engaged in a feud with Shotzi and cut off some of her hair on an episode of SmackDown. During last week's episode of SmackDown, Shotzi shaved her head, which was actually a sign of solidarity with her sister's battle with liver cancer.
In addition to the Shotzi feud, WWE are continuing to tease dissent within Damage CTRL. Bayley and IYO SKY turned on each other during the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this month in London, which SKY won. Despite this, the pair have remained allies on screen for the time being.
