WWE brings WrestleMania to Philadelphia, PA in 2024. The 40th installment of WWE's biggest event of the year will be held Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, 2024 from Lincoln Financial Field - home of the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles.
When wrestling fans hear Philadelphia, the first thing that comes to mind for many is Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW).
There are several opportunities for WWE to pay homage to ECW next April. We could see an ECW-themed Hall of Fame class, or a solo induction from a deserving name like Paul Heyman. Stars like Rob Van Dam or Tommy Dreamer could get booked on the show as a way to honor the brand's legacy.
We now have an indication that WWE will embrace ECW in some fashion during WrestleMania 40 weekend.
On Monday, OnLocation released information about WrestleMania 40 Ticket Packages. In addition to early access to premium seating, there are premium experiences available including the opportunity to attend an exclusive pre-WrestleMania 40 party with The Undertaker.
For fans willing to drop $9,000 per person, the 'Champion' package includes:
