TMZ.com reported today that WWE head Vince McMahon, 77, underwent spinal surgery recently.
In speaking to WWE sources this afternoon, PWInsider was told that it was a "major" spinal surgery last week.
He is currently recovering from what was described as a "intense, hours-long procedure."
TMZ reported it was a four hour surgery and that McMahon was released to recover. It is not known if McMahon was released from the hospital.
