Sami Zayn could be the next WWE Superstar to be off of TV as a spot during this week's Raw has left fans worried.
Zayn has had a whirlwind 2023 thus far, beginning with his exit from the Bloodline at the Royal Rumble in January. The following month, Zayn would challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship but would come up short against the Tribal Chief.
At WrestleMania 39: Night One, Zayn and Kevin Owens would end the record-breaking reign of the Usos to become the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, making Zayn the first Muslim Superstar to headline WrestleMania.
During this week's Raw, Zayn was scheduled to team with Cody Rhodes & Sami Zayn to face the Judgment Day. During a backstage segment, Zayn was attacked by JD McDonagh who has been teased as a possible member of Finn Balor's group.
Zayn was sporting what looks to be Bursitis, which John Hopkins Medicine defines as, "a closed, fluid-filled sac that works as a cushion and gliding surface to reduce friction between tissues of the body."
