Bray Wyatt could be nearing a return to WWE.
The 36-year-old has been out of action since late February with an undisclosed illness. However, according to a report from Fightful Select, Wyatt is "closer" to being medically cleared.
WWE and Wyatt are reportedly being extra cautious regarding his condition and long term health.
"After today's update, it was explained to Fightful that the illness that Bray Wyatt is actively recovering from was both career and life threatening," Sean Ross Sapp later posted to Twitter.

Regarding a potential timeline for Wyatt's return, one source noted to Fightful that creative pitches have been made that would see him back on WWE programming next month, although this is dependent on him being medically cleared.
Wyatt returned to the promotion at Extreme Rules last October following a series of QR codes being shown on WWE programming in the weeks leading up to the show. The codes linked to a WWE website with various imagery that teased his return.
Wyatt hasn't wrestled on WWE programming since defeating LA Knight in the Mountain Dew Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble. He hasn't wrestled at all since a 2/26 house show event in Rockford, Illinois.
