This week's Friday Night SmackDown featured fallout from SummerSlam, including Jimmy Uso explaining his actions at SummerSlam and the bombshell news that Jey Uso is leaving WWE.

Jimmy explained that he betrayed Jey at Summerslam because he did not want his brother to become Tribal Chief, a responsibility that he's seen poison Roman Reigns into becoming the tyrant he is today. You can see the full segment right here:

Jey wasn't buying it and announced he's done with the Bloodline, he's done with SmackDown and he's flat-out done with WWE.

On Saturday, Jey Uso's Superstar Profile was moved to the Alumni section of the WWE website. This is customarily done when a wrestler legitimately departs the company.

For those who are wondering, no, Jey Uso is not actually leaving WWE. Jey Uso "quitting" WWE is simply the latest development in the ongoing Bloodline saga.

Jey Uso will be back sooner than later. As we reported earlier this week, Roman Reigns was injured during the Tribal Combat match at SummerSlam. Reigns has worked a part-time schedule in recent months and is not expected wrestle again any time soon.

Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso will be the focal point of the Bloodline for the next few months. Jey quitting is simply a detour on the road to the brother vs. brother showdown. We've heard this match discussed for Payback, the next WWE premium live event taking place on Saturday, September 2.

I guess The Uso's being the focal point of The Bloodline for a few months gives Reigns a bit of time off as he continues holding the titles until Wrestlemania.
