Lacey Evans is believed to be done with WWE, based on her dropping several clues of a departure on social media. In addition to her changing her Instagram and Twitter handles to @LimitlessMacey and replacing references to her ring name with her real name (Macey Estrella), the former U.S. Marine is also referring to herself as "FKA WWE Superstar Lacey Evans."
With all signs pointing to her getting released, WWE has provided an update that seems to confirm she's on the outs. On Wednesday, Lacey Evans' Superstar profile was moved to the 'Alumni' section of WWE.com.
This typically (but not always) indicates somebody has left the company.
If Evans has indeed left WWE, her exit comes close to two months after her final match with the promotion. That bout on the June 23, 2023, edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw Evans lose to Charlotte Flair in minutes.
The past 12 months have seen Evans return to WWE programming multiple times with multiple gimmicks, including embracing her role as a mother, and her military background. Evans has also worked as both a face and a heel over the past year but has failed to gain momentum on screen.
