The WWE Universe won't be seeing Bianca Belair in the ring for the time being, as the EST has been written off of TV.
At SummerSlam 2023, Belair captured the WWE Women's Championship, defeating Asuka in a triple-threat match that included Charlotte Flair. Belair's reign as champion would be short-lived, as IYO SKY would cash in her Money in the Bank contract after the match and dethrone Belair as champion.
During the August 18, episode of SmackDown, Flair and Belair were victorious in a tag-team match against SKY and Damage CTRL ally Bayley. Backstage after the match, Belair was attacked by Damage CTRL, and her knee (which had been 'injured' during the SummerSlam match) was targetted by the group.

Fightful Select reports that this knee injury is just a storyline and will allow Belair to take some planned time off. Belair's hiatus has been factored into WWE's creative direction, but it is unclear how long she'll be gone. Reports about her break range from her being away for a few weeks to possibly having three months off of TV.
It's unclear how much time Belair will have off, but what we do know is that the EST is looked upon very favorably by WWE management. Belair received "constant praise" during her record-breaking tenure as WWE Raw Women's Champion for her efforts to represent the company. WWE was said to be impressed by her demeanor during her "insane media schedule" and the "community events" she would take part in.
