Former NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose has teased a potential return to professional wrestling.
On Tuesday, Rose answered a fan question during a Q&A on Instagram and said she may be a free agent soon. Rose was fired from WWE in December after refusing to pull down pictures from her OnlyFans account.
When asked if she plans to wrestle again, Rose replied:
"Funny you asked...your girl may or may not be a free agent soon."
Mandy Rose was a key talent and character of NXT 2.0 when the brand relaunched in September of 2021. Rose led the Toxic Attraction faction next to Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne and soon after became NXT Women's Champion. Rose held the championship for over 400 days before losing it to Roxanne Perez in December of 2022. The day after losing the title, Rose was fired.
The wrestling landscape is stocked with strong opponents should she decide to return to the ring.
In AEW, a large roster consisting of Britt Baker, Toni Storm, Saraya, Ruby Soho, Nyla Rose, and others make for a fresh batch of matches for Rose to have upon a return.
Impact Wrestling offers her some unique opponents as well with Trinity, Deonna Purrazzo, and Jordynne Grace waiting in the wing.
A WWE return is interesting as well. Women like Tiffany Stratton, Lyra Valkyria, and former Toxic Attraction members Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne would give Rose a long list of opponents. If Rose went to the main roster, top stars like Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, and others intriguing dance partners for Rose.
