In what can be described as an electrifying turn of events, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson made an unexpected return to WWE on the September 15, 2023, episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The People's Champ, as he's affectionately known, didn't just make a cameo; he of course mark on the show with his presence.
The Rock's homecoming to WWE was met with a massive ovation from fans, both in the arena and those watching at home. The Brahma Bull graced the ring for a segment involving Austin Theory and a returning Pat McAfee.
The surprises didn't end there. Backstage, The Rock embraced his longtime wrestling rival, John Cena, in a powerful display of respect and camaraderie.
