John Cena will be sticking around with WWE for longer than expected, with the 16-time World Champion being advertised for Crown Jewel in November.

Cena made his return to WWE programming earlier this month, kicking off what will be Cena's longest return to the company in years. Cena's return has seen him compete at Superstar Spectacle, where he teamed with Seth Rollins, and served as the host of WWE Payback.

Despite Cena's return scheduled to end with the October 27, SmackDown, it now looks like he will be sticking around for an extra week. On November 4, WWE will return to Saudi Arabia for its annual Crown Jewel event. The show will mark the 10th show in WWE's decade-long deal with Saudi Arabia that began in 2018.

The show will take place during 'Riyadh Season,' which will kick off on October 28, 2023. In a promotional video highlighting the festivities, WWE's next Saudi event was confirmed to be Crown Jewel, and it was confirmed that the show will include "the participation of John Cena. Confirmation of Cena's involvement with the show can be found at 8:28 in the video below.

This event will be Cena's first time competing in Saudi Arabia since the first event 'The Greatest Royal Rumble' in April 2018. While Cena was advertised for that November's Crown Jewel event, he was replaced in the WWE World Cup by Bobby Lashley. In reality, Cena had reportedly refused to work the show in the wake of the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, allegedly at the orders of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman.

It won't be just Crown Jewel 2023 that members of the WWE Universe in Saudi Arabia can look forward to. In the video above [4:51] a "special experience center" for WWE fans is shown, featuring rides, an Undertaker-themed location, and colorful displays.

WWE granted its first Make-A-Wish wishes in Saudi Arabia as part of this year's Night of Champions event.
