Karrion Kross could be the next WWE Superstar to share the ring with John Cena, judging by a recent social media post from the former NXT Champion.
Cena returned to WWE earlier this month, kicking off what will be the 16-time WWE World Champion's longest run with the promotion in years. Cena served as the host of WWE Payback earlier this month and has run afoul of Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in recent weeks.
On this week's SmackDown, Cena appeared in the opening segment and made it clear he wants to face Sikoa and Uso in a tag team match at Fastlane. Later in the show, Cena appeared again to sign a contract, though his intended partner AJ Styles was attacked backstage.
It appears that Sikoa and Jimmy Uso aren't the only ones with their eyes on 'Big Match John.' On his Instagram Stories, Kross shared a video of himself intently watching Cena's entrance, teasing a feud between the two Superstars.

This is hardly the first time that Karrion Kross has shown interest in sharing the ring with John Cena. Speaking with BT Sport in May 2021, Kross reflected on what a match with John would mean to him.
"Having the opportunity to work with John Cena on a big stage, hopefully with people [as the interview took place during the Thunderdome era] would be awesome. I think it would be a battle of two generations."
At the time, Kross had never met Cena but credited the 16-time World Champion as the reason many on the roster got into wrestling.
