Gable Steveson's in-ring career with WWE remains off of TV with the Olympian headlining a recent NXT live event.
Close to two years after signing with WWE, Steveson made his in-ring debut at NXT Great American Bash earlier this year where he would go to a count-out draw with Baron Corbin. Despite being removed from WWE's roster earlier this month, Steveson has continued to make sporadic in-ring appearances at NXT live events.
While Steveson is one of the biggest names with the NXT brand, his matches have thus far taken place in the middle of the card. That changed with last night's episode of WWE NXT from Fort Pierce, Florida, which saw Steveson headline his first WWE event. In the show's closer, Steveson teamed with the Creed Brothers to defeat the trio of Charlie Dempsey, Damon Kemp & Myles Borne.

This match marks Steveson's fourth match for WWE with the Olympian boasting a 3-0-1 record. This also marks Steveson's first main event as well as his first match that wasn't a singles encounter.
