WWE has filed a new trademark for the term, Global Localization. According to the US Patent & Trademark Office database, the trademark for the term was filed on September 18. The primary 'Goods and Services' usage description reads:

"Concept and brand development in the field of wrestling and sports entertainment programming content."

WWE has not publicly used the term on television, but it does align with a former NXT expansion strategy that was captained by Triple H.

The plan called for multiple NXT chapters across the globe. WWE's NXT UK brand was phased out during the COVID-19 pandemic, but WWE is planning to launch NXT Europe next year:

NXT UK is no longer an official brand under the WWE banner, but talent from that brand is all over the main WWE roster and NXT. Acts like GUNTHER, Imperium, Pretty Deadly, Butch, Tyler Bate, Rhea Ripley, Piper Niven, Gallus, Alba Fyre and others all began their WWE careers on that brand.

Today, they are all contributing acts on Raw, Smackdown, or NXT. Specifically, GUNTHER is the longest reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion in history.
