WWE has begun teasing the arrival of Brian Pillman Jr., mere hours after it was confirmed that fellow AEW alum Jade Cargill has signed with the promotion.
In July, Pillman's time with AEW ended and the second-generation wrestler spoke about a "huge opportunity" coming up in his future. It wasn't long before it was reported that WWE had a deal in place for Pillman, and last month it was confirmed that he had signed with WWE. Pillman has since started training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
On this week's episode of WWE NXT, a vignette was aired of a person sitting down and watching various TV show clips. The first clip was of 'Eyewitness News at 7' while the second clip was a clip of a training camp for the Cincinnati Bengals. The third clip was more familiar to wrestling fans, that being an old taping of WCW with the iconic voice of Jim Ross being heard.

While the person's face wasn't shown, the clips they watched revealed that this is Brian Pillman Jr., given that the shows he watched all have a connection to his legendary father.
Eyewitness News at 7 covered reports within Southern California and the greater Los Angeles area, a nod to his father's time with 'Stunning' Steve Austin as the Hollywood Blonds.
Prior to entering the ring, Pillman Sr. played for the Cincinnati Bengals in 1984.
Pillman competed for years as part of World Championship Wrestling before departing for ECW in early 1996 and later signing with the WWF in June of that same year.
