WWE Superstar Liv Morgan has been out of action since July. The former SmackDown Women's champion and 2-time Women's tag champion appeared to be injured on the July 17 edition of WWE Raw and left the show wearing a sling on their arm.

WWE never addressed her status publicly, but Morgan has now confirmed she has in fact been dealing with an injury. During a recent interview with Danni Levy for Muscle and Health, Morgan revealed she has been focusing on nutrition during the hiatus and plans to be in the best shape of her career when she does return.

Morgan said her diet has been a "huge work in progress" and she loves deserts and carbs like many of us. She tries to to eat clean 90% of the time, but admits that number is probably closer to 70%.

With extra time on her hands while away from WWE, she's recommitted herself to the notion that food is 'fuel' for the body and can make or break your athletic performance. She's laser focused on nutrition - limiting her intake of carbohydrates, while also allowing herself occasional desserts and sweets.

"I’m actually out injured right now and aside from healing up, my focus has been on my nutrition, so it’s been really exciting honing in on that," she said. "I want to come back in the very best shape of my life, so right now, I am eating clean, tons of fresh fruits and veggies."

"I’m basing my carb intake on the amount of physicality and energy I expend each day. I do believe life is about balance, though, so I still order a cheeky little dessert with dinner sometimes.”

When asked about her plans after her in-ring days are over, Morgan said she loves to entertain and hopes to continue branching out into acting, which she can do for decades to come. You can check out the full interview at Muscle and Health.
