The rising luchador Dragon Lee has secured a spot on the main roster. He is officially a part of the WWE SmackDown roster.
Lee had joined WWE in December last year. Fans witnessed his official in-ring debut at NXT Stand & Deliver in April this year when he was featured in a Fatal 5-Way Match which was for Wes Lee's NXT North American Championship. Though Lee couldn't win the match he did impress the fans by showcasing some spectacular moves.
Lee also recently faced Dominik Mysterio for the North American title on two occasions but suffered defeats in both the matches. Lee had his second match against Dom on the September 25th edition of Raw where the 28-year-old luchador showcased almost all his moves in his arsenal but Dom Dom escaped with a win.
The SmackDown roster boasts a plethora of incredible talents and Dragon Lee joining the brand will only bolster the blue brand. It is always a treat to watch Lee perform inside the ring and it is not a surprise that he has managed to book a spot on the blue brand. He has been quite impressive lately and his future looks bright. Even the WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio has endorsed him as 'the future of Lucha Libre.'
It was reported that Dragon Lee was called up quietly few months back. Now, as per WWE’s website, Dragon Lee has been officially added to the Friday Night Smackdown roster. Fans would be eager to witness Lee back on the blue brand following his stunning outing against Austin Theory last week.

On the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Dragon Lee had a triumphant outing against Theory. During the match, Grayson Waller interfered. However, Cameron Grimes had Lee's back and he evened the odds. In the final moments of the clash, Grimes took Waller out and Lee managed to get a roll-up pin to defeat Theory.
We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Dragon Lee.
