This week's WWE NXT saw plenty of build toward the upcoming NXT Halloween Havoc two-night event.
NXT Halloween Havoc will start next week and finish with Night Two on October 31. This will be the third NXT Halloween Havoc and will see WWE's resident ghost-hunters Shotzi and Scarlett as hosts of the show.
Title Matches
During this week's NXT, a 'Bada Bing Bada Boom' Battle Royal took place to determine the next challengers for the NXT Tag Team Championships. The match saw the Creed Brothers eliminate Los Lotharios but since the referees didn't see this elimination, Humberto and Angel got back in the ring and eliminated the Creeds. Angel Garza would then be eliminated by Andre Chase, giving Chase U the win. Chase and Duke Hudson will face Tony D'Angelo and Stacks during Halloween Havoc.

NXT opened with Trick Williams being added to that night's triple threat that would determine the next challenger for Ilja Dragunov. After Williams was attacked during the show, however, the originally planned match between Carmelo Hayes, Dijak, and Baron Corbin took place. Hayes won and will challenge for the NXT Championship on NXT Halloween Havoc Night Two.

During this week's NXT, Gigi Dolin span the wheel and learned that she will face Blair Davenport in a Lights Out match next week. Rozanne Perez also spun the wheel and learned she would be facing Kiana James in a Devil's Playground match.
NXT Halloween Havoc will also host the semi-finals of the NXT Women's Breakout Tournament. Karmen Petrovic will face Lola Vice while Kelani Jordan will face Arianna Grace. While not announced this week, it has been confirmed that NXT Women's Champion Becky Lynch will defend her title against Lyra Valkyria at Halloween Havoc.
