Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will defend his title against LA Knight at WWE Crown Jewel on November 4.

Next month, WWE will host its Crown Jewel event from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event will be the fifth-annual Crown Jewel Premium Live Event and the latest event as part of WWE's decade-long relationship with the Middle Eastern kingdom. While the show will feature a stacked card, Crown Jewel 2023 will not feature many notable names.

After weeks of tensions between Knight and the Bloodline, WWE's resident megastar will receive a title opportunity at WWE Crown Jewel. The Los Angeles Times was the first to break the news, which will mark Knight's first World Championship opportunity since coming to WWE.

During Reigns' recent return to WWE programming, Knight made it clear he was coming for the Tribal Chief, but was attacked by Reigns during the closing moments of the show. Knight would get his payback during a rare live appearance by Reigns, in which the Universal Champion was taken out by LA Knight. This match will be Reigns' eleventh in 2023 and the Tribal Chief currently boasts an 8-2 win record.
