NXT is getting ready for a unique collegiate athlete courtesy of their very own NIL program.

WWE has reportedly signed Peyton Prussin to a full-time deal with its developmental brand, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. Prussin is a female collegiate wrestler from Life University, a private school out of Marietta, GA and was a part of WWE's third NIL class of athletes.

Prussin has won several NAIA Championships while at school and is also diverse in different martial arts. Her coach at Life, Ashley Flavin had major praise for Peyton in a January FloSports interview, stating that she became a face of women's collegiate wrestling.

“She’s a high-performance athlete who is fun to watch and cheer on, not just because of her skill on the mat, but because of her personality. She’s fun, energetic, playful, caring, and joyful, but extremely focused and competitive when it’s time to work.

We are thrilled for Peyton to have this partnership with WWE and excited to have a whole new group of fans opened up to her, our team, and the sport. The WWE could not have picked a better athlete for this opportunity.”

Prussin joins a fellow prominent amateur wrestler Gable Steveson in signing a deal with WWE. In September, the company started the "recruitment" process once again with their "Campus Rush" tour which has made stops at the University Of Pittsburgh, Washington, Maryland and Missouri.

WWE stars such as Bianca Belair and Big E have participated in the tour, speaking with the prospective future stars in the industry.
