The long-awaited return of Randy Orton will happen this Saturday at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, as confirmed during last night's Monday Night Raw.
This week's Raw was the go-home show before WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, which will take place on November 25, from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The show will mark the return of the WarGames match to the main roster after being introduced at last year's event.
During this week's Raw, Drew McIntyre kicked off the show by talking about his recent heel turn. McIntyre made it clear that he is not an official member of the Judgment Day, but will team with the male members of the team to compete inside WarGames this Sunday.

In a separate segment, Adam Pearce made it clear to the face team of Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn, that they would need a fifth member, and Rhodes teased having an old friend he could call.

In the main event of the show, McIntyre faced Jey Uso to determine which side would have the coveted advantage going into WarGames. McIntyre got a clean win with the Future Shock DDT, and a post-match assault by the Judgment Day on Jey ensued.
That beatdown would've continued if not for Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, and Sami Zayn, who all arrived with steel chairs to make the save, and Rhodes would announce Randy Orton as his team's fifth man.

Orton had been out since May of 2022 due to a back injury which at one time looked like it had ended his career. A recent report indicated that WWE planned on having Orton for the match and intended to announce him before Survivor Series, to avoid anyone expecting CM Punk as the team's fifth man.
