More information has come to light about who has been let go from WWE this week alongside McKenzie Mitchell.

Mitchell, an interviewer for WWE, confirmed on social media that she'd been let go this week. In her statement, Mitchell spoke about meeting her husband (WWE NXT Commentator Vic Joseph) in the company, in addition to many friends that became like her family.

In addition to McKenzie Kitchell, WWE parted ways with several individuals from their corporate offices. These are the first layoffs since the promotion parted ways with over 100 people from their offices in September of this year. In an update, Wrestlenomics confirmed the following people have been let go.

Michael Weitz (SVP, Financial Planning): Weitz had previously served as Head of Investor Relations before Seth Zaslow was appointed to the role in January 2022.

Craig Stimmel (Head of Global Sales and Partnerships): Stimmel was hired in August 2022 during the period Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan were co-CEOs. He was the first big hiring following the retirement of Vince McMahon.

Karen Mullane (Controller and Chief Accounting Officer): Mullane was appointed to her roles in November 2020. She was responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting division as well as ensuring the appropriate financial controls of WWE.

Stewart Frey (SVP, Streaming Technology): Frey began in WWE in June 2016, making him the longest-serving employee cut by WWE this week. Prior to the promotion, he spent 17 years working at Viacom in several high-level roles.

Matt Geyer (SVP, Gaming): Geyer was with WWE from December 2021. Before this, he spent 13 years with Warner Bros. Entertainment and also worked with Activision and Blizzard.
