The Austrian is already being considered a favorite after his impressive outing last year, which saw him be the final man eliminated. On Instagram, Punk reacted to GUNTHER's declaration, saying if what he's heard is real, it's going to be a tough time for the 28 other Superstars in the match other than himself and GUNTHER.

Punk's comment is a nod to the infamous tweet by Keith Lee that he sent in early 2022 about the Austrian. Following reports that WWE would be changing the name of WALTER to GUNTHER, Lee had the following to say.
