The Rock says ‘off’ is the direction the people who don't like new avatar can ... go. TKO Group is reportedly looking to lean more into the PG realm of content. The company official so was hoping that The Rock would be setting a good example, being a member of The Board Of Directors.
"The talent was told that because the company was publicly traded and the wishes of TKO management was to be TV-PG. The feeling was that if he’s on the board, if anything, he should be he one following the rules to set the example."
Meltzer added that some people in WWE complained that select talent could get more traction with the handcuffs taken off. The roster was seemingly frustrated with the fact that certain people are allowed to break the rules that everyone else is made to follow.
The Rock has rocked 'n' rolled on both WWE programming and social media, using colorful language to further fuel his feud with Cody Rhodes. That led to The Rock himself addressing his own pushing the limits of "standards & practices" on social media.

This is not the first time The Rock and has camp have attempted to debunk reports about his current WWE run. In response to a recent report by Fightful stating one of The Rock’s promos ran long, former WWE head writer Brian Gewirtz fired back that 'The People's Champion' was actually thirty seconds under his allotted time.
