WWE has several roster members sidelined with injuries. We previously reported on Eddy Thorpe's return to NXT. Now, Wendy Choo is also set to come back next week. Choo will make her return on the June 11 episode of WWE NXT.
After multiple vignettes teased her comeback, a new video on the June 4 episode announced Choo's return on June 11. The video hinted at a new persona for Choo, contrasting her previous light-hearted character.
She once wore pajamas and fluffy slippers, often sipping from a thermos. Choo hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Kelani Jordan to defeat Elektra Lopez and Lola Vice at the May 16 NXT Level Up taping.

Additionally, WWE announced that Lexis King will face Dante Chen in a Singapore Cane match for the episode after Battleground Chen and King brawled backstage on Tuesday, and they have been feuding in recent weeks.

A knee injury kept Choo out of the ring for a year, as she was hurt in May 2023. It was a long road for her return, but fans only have another week to wait.
During a media call on July 27, Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels expressed hope for Choo's return. He mentioned that she is still rehabbing her injuries and making progress. The company ensures their talent is fully ready before returning to action. Although everything is moving in the right direction, it will still be some time before Choo is back in the ring.
Choo previously returned to the ring at the NXT Level Up tapings on April 30. Before that, Choo had been out of action since the NXT Level Up taping on May 16, 2023.
