WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams is happy to see TNA Wrestling working with WWE NXT, as it demonstrates what the gold brand has been achieving.

With the arrival of Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, there has been plenty of talk about NXT and TNA and speculation that other TNA talent could soon be appearing. In an interview with The Masked Man Show, Williams was excited at the prospect of more collaboration between the two parties and spoke about what this collab means.

“All challengers are welcome. I can say that I consider it an honor that we built up a brand enough and that we’ve built up the title enough that there are people who want to go get it. Anybody who wants it, come get it. The door is open. Now that we’re doing it, let’s do it.”

While Grace was the first to step through the 'prohibited portal' she may not be the last. It is believed on WWE's side that some of their talent will appear at upcoming TNA events, including at the Against All Odds pay-per-view on June 14. Grace has thrown out an open challenge for the event with many speculating that a WWE NXT Superstar will answer her call. There has also been rumors of WWE NXT representation at the upcoming TNA Slammiversary event this July.

After decades of their 'don't play with others' mentality, WWE's embracing of the proverbial 'Prohibited Portal' has been refreshing for fans. Audiences will no doubt be excited to see more from NXT and TNA as both brands prepare to do much more together to deliver high-quality wrestling and entertainment.
