WWE NXT Superstar Gigi Dolin has joined the list of injured talent as an issue with her knee will cost the former Women's Tag Team Champion months of action.

Dolin had recently been in an angle with Arianna Grace which saw Miss NXT aspire to transform Dolin into a 'proper lady.' As of late, however, Grace has appeared without Dolin and it was reported that the angle had been dropped completely without an explanation being given on TV.

Now, we know that the angle was dropped as Dolin is dealing with a serious knee injury, Fightful Select reports. Dolin has not been present at several weeks of NXT tapings. As details remain sketchy as to the specifics regarding her injury, it is unknown when she will be back though it is believed she will be out of action for months.

Dolin's segments with Grace were filmed outside the Performance Center. The initial plan was for these segments to be a way to keep Dolin on TV despite her injury. She has not wrestled since the March 12 episode of NXT, where she was defeated by Arianna Grace to kick off their storyline.

Unfortunately, Dolin is hardly the only Superstar in WWE NXT to be out of action. Cora Jade has been missing since the start of this year with a torn ACL. While the former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion appeared at a May live event in a non-wrestling role, fans should not take that as a sign of an imminent comeback.

Dani Palmer shared in January that she would require double hip surgery, with no timelines expected for her recovery. On April 3, Saquon Shugars shared a photo of himself in the hospital with an x-ray of his knee. The extent of his injury is unknown and as a result, it is unclear when he will be back. Nikkita Lyons is once again on the injured list after suffering a setback shortly after returning from a previous injury.

On this week's episode of WWE NXT Vic Joseph announced that Karmen Petrovic was injured at a live event a few days prior. The extent of her injury is also unknown and it is unclear when she will be back. Jacy Jayne remains injured after suffering a suspected broken nose at Spring Breakin' but she appeared during the most recent NXT.
