TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace is moving forward after failing to dethrone NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez.
'The Juggernaut' was aiming to script history by becoming the NXT Women's Champion at last night's NXT Battleground at UFC Apex in Las Vegas. However, it was Roxanne Perez who came out on top and successfully retained her title. Following the match, Grace took to her X account and reflected on her loss. She dropped a picture in which she pointed at the poster of her match against Perez. In the caption, she wrote that it was not her time but it will be one day.

In the final moments of the match, Tatum Paxley distracted Grace when the former grabbed the TNA Knockouts title. Former WWE star Dana Brooke (now Ash By Elegance in TNA) tried to stop her. Jordynne Grace attacked both Paxley and Ash By Elegance with the title. 'The Prodigy' took advantage of the situation and hit Pop Rox to get the pinfall victory.
Last month, NXT General Manager Ava had named Jordynne Grace as Roxanne's opponent at NXT Battleground. It marked Jordynne's second appearance for WWE after the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble match. Last week on NXT, Grace competed in her first match for the brand. Though she had gained momentum with the win, Perez managed to stop her in her tracks.
Grace recently announced that she will hold an open challenge for the TNA Knockouts Championship at TNA Against All Odds on June 14. Her announcement soon created a buzz that a WWE women's wrestler might answer her challenge due to WWE's recent collaboration with TNA Wrestling. There is also a huge possibility that even an NXT women's wrestler might show up in NXT and answer Grace's challenge.
