WWE fans have been getting acquainted with rapper Sexyy Red, who just hosted NXT Battleground this past weekend from Las Vegas. On Tuesday, TMZ broke the news that Red was arrested in New Jersey over the weekend for her involvement an airport brawl that looked like a sene straight out of WWE programming. She was taken into custody early Saturday morning at Newark Liberty International Airport. According to police, she and her group got into a fight with another group at one of the terminals.

Video footage captures the chaos, showing several individuals tumbling to the ground and exchanging punches. Sexyy Red, identifiable by her red bonnet, didn't hesitate from joining the ruckus. Instead of jumping into the melee, she grabbed a weighted stand from the ground and waved it around, seemingly prepared to use it as a weapon. Fortunately, Red did not make contact with anyone with her foreign object, as someone intervened and pulled her away from the conflict. Then she dropped the stand and walked off camera.

Airport security can be seen attempting to control the situation, with the groups moving in and out of a terminal door. Eventually, the police arrived and arrested several individuals, including Sexyy Red. The Port Authority reported that the rapper was arrested for disorderly conduct, while others involved faced assault charges. The alleged victims were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Sexyy Red addressed the incident on social media, stating she had "just got out" and offered to replace the phone of one of the people involved in the altercation. Despite the incident, she appeared to maintain a positive attitude.

It's never a great time to get arrested, but the timing of this incident could not come at This incident comes as Red was heavily featured on WWE programming, which culminated at Battleground, where she played a key role as host.
