WWE is making sure to set the table for whenever Rhea Ripley is ready to return to the company.

Ripley unfortunately suffered a shoulder injury after she retained her WWE Women's World Championship against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40, and the company had to pivot from their creative plans by making 'Mami' vacate her gold. The championship quickly went to Becky Lynch who ultimately lost it to Liv Morgan at WWE Crown Jewel. Now Liv not only has the gold, but the attention of Dominik Mysterio. Liv has been seeking the affections of Mysterio ever since Ripley has been removed, but Damian Priest and the rest of The Judgment Day have been trying to protect Dom from Liv's seduction.

A new report from Fightful addresses the original report that Rhea Ripley wasn't planned for SummerSlam in August, but sources do say that WWE has things ready for Rhea to roll back in whenever she is ready for a comeback, that includes a non-wrestling role.

Fightful hasn't been informed of any sort of WWE return for Rhea, but there is an internal hope she could return before SummerSlam in order to help continue the storyline between her, Dom and Morgan.

As it stands now, Morgan has been manipulative of Dom, but she is also in a budding feud with Zelina Vega as both fighters have been exchanging barbs online and confrontations in the ring.

Before getting hurt, Ripley was dominant not just with Dom, but with that Women's World Championship as she held the title for over a year.
