Former WWE personality Matt Camp has hit out at the "bull****" notion that WWE is some kind of family following his underwhelming exit from the company.

Appearing on his The Wrestling Matt YouTube channel, Camp addressed his February 2024 release from WWE. Camp was perturbed that his exit saw no mention by WWE, despite his many years with the company.

"I'm not asking for a future endeavors thing or anything like that, but you know, that tells you what 'family' means when you work for a company. It doesn't mean shit. You're a number, and that's what I was. And I understand that, but that whole 'family' and 'we're family' - it's total horse****."

Camp also recalled a group photo with The Rock, now a member of TKO's Board of Directors. The former The Bump co-host said that all of Rock's talk about WWE being a family who stick together did little to save him from being unceremoniously cut.

"That whole 'family' bull****' and Rock's like, 'Let's take a picture with everybody in it because I wanna show that I was here'. I'm in that picture, and then I'm not here a couple of weeks later."

Camp was with WWE for years and in addition to his role on The Bump, also participated with Raw Talk and Talking Smack. While fans have seen former on-screen personalities return over the years, Camp's comments indicate that he's not currently interested in returning to the so-called WWE 'family.'
