WWE Bash in Berlin will feature the next chapter in the Drew McIntyre and CM Punk blood feud.
Punk and McIntyre have been butting heads ever since the Scottish Warrior injured the Second City Saint at the WWE Royal Rumble at the beginning of the year. McIntyre later told Punk that he prayed for him to get injured, then slid into his spot against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL, where he captured the world heavyweight championship. However, that world title reign was short-lived after Punk attacked McIntyre, leading to Damian Priest cashing-in his Money In The Bank and stealing the title after a five-minute reign.
After months of attacks and receipts, McIntyre and Punk finally met at WWE SummerSlam in Cleveland. On that night, McIntyre defeated Punk thanks to some faulty refereeing by Seth Rollins. Now Punk has a chance at revenge.
The August 19th WWE Raw saw Punk challenge McIntyre to a strap match at Bash in Berlin. McIntyre immediately accepted and the match was confirmed for the premium live event, which takes place on August 30th from the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany.
