-- Speaking of new merchandise, the new shirt that John Cena wore last night on RAW is also available in WWE’s online store.
-- Tatanka’s profile has been added to the SmackDown superstars page on WWE.com. Goldust has yet to be added to the RAW page, however.
-- The South Florida Sun-Sentinel recently mentioned WWE in an article about the Olympics. Here’s an excerpt: “And come to think of it, Vince McMahon would have been a great choice to dole out the consolation medals. Olympic speedskating at the Oval Lingotto has taken on a decidedly WWE-like tone, thanks to this very real feud between Americans Shani Davis and Chad Hedrick.”
-- JAM! Showbiz in Canada (by the same people who do SLAM! Wrestling) recently compared a challenge on CBS’ reality show Survivor to WWE, saying “Last week’s immunity challenge was one of the most violent in Survivor history, with the tribes busting out their best WWE moves in a competition to dig a bag out of a sand pit and return it to their starting point.”
